Garden update...

Time to make another batch of strawberry jam + Nicholas' strawberry rhubarb pie for his birthday tomorrow!

Our FIRST raspberry!

Cauliflower heads are forming... Love seeing them all nestled in their green beds!

Yes, we have beets this year!

Close up of the re-strung green bean trellis.
Hoping whatever critter destroyed our first one will not return again...

The squash bed is spilling over... Maybe I planted a few too many in the space?
And, the sugar snap peas at the head of this bed are blooming!

We finally got the trellis system set up for the boysenberry and black raspberry!

Blaine harvesting the garlic scapes...

Pile o' garlic scapes!

If you look really closely, you'll see one of our asparagus gone to seed! Pretty.
Click on the photo to see it bigger!

Mystery plant ~ received an unmarked seed packet from Seeds of Change... Anyone?

*Update: We have determined this is a mustard green.

Another view of the green bean trellis

And finally... Three slightly different views of the garden from up on the hill.
I couldn't decide which one I liked best.

Happy Gardening!
